Getting started with VizSlides as a user
To get started, open your Microsoft Office application. The VizSlides plugin will work with Microsoft Powerpoint, Outlook, Word and Excel, both on the desktop app as well as the online version. This tutorial shows the use of VizSlides in PowerPoint Desktop on a Mac.
First start your Microsoft Office application and open the file where you want to embed your live and interactive Tableau Dashboards. You can embed the VizSlides Add-in to existing pages or create a new one.
Depending on what product you are using, the instructions for embedding are slightly different. Select your product below, and you will see the correct instructions for your platform:
Click on the three dots in the top right corner
Click on 'Get Add-ins'
Click on 'Admin-managed'
Click on 'VizSlides next', and then on 'Add'
You're finished! π
You can now open Vizslides by clicking on 'VizSlides Next for Outlook' above the email template.
In the 'Home' tab of the Toolbar, press 'Add-ins'
Click on 'More add-ins'
Click on 'Admin-managed'
Click on 'VizSlides next', and then on 'Add'

If VizSlides does not appear in this tab, your company either does not yet have a license, or VizSlides has not been published for you yet. Please contact your system administrator and request the publication of VizSlides as described in Getting started with Vizslides as an admin
