Authentication

The username worksheet and username column settings are only applicable if you are not using SSO as authentication method.

We use the username of the logged in user (derived with the Tableau Username() function) to audit, monitor and manage the operation of the extension. The username should be available on a Tableau sheet and we recommend to not change these setting once they are set properly.

Other options

You can show a logout button to log out after you have used WriteBackExtreme. You can also set a timer to automatically logout after a certain period.
