# SSO/SAML or OAuth authentication

When using SSO or OAuth authentication as the only authentication method, the extension tries to authenticate automatically by opening the authentication popup window in your browser. Unfortunately automatically opening popups is blocked by the browser by default.

The browser shows an icon in the address bar of the browser when the popup blocker is active.

Click on the icon and select Allow to disable popups from tableu extensions.
