# Measures

The **Measures** tab controls formatting for numeric values shown in the chart.

#### Measure selection

Choose a measure from the dropdown to format it.

#### Formatting options

* **Style**: number format style
* **Decimal Places**: number of decimals shown
* **Display Units**: abbreviates values such as thousands or millions
* **Include Thousands Separators**: adds separators for readability
* **Prefix**: text shown before the value
* **Suffix**: text shown after the value

Example:

* Prefix: `$`
* Suffix: `%`
