PowerKPIs support different data structures. You can create KPI cards from either wide data (your KPIs are stored in columns) or long data structures (your KPIs are stored in rows).

Navigate the images and select the data structure type that fits to your data and use case.

For Grid Layouts:

Option 1: A KPI card per dimension member, scenarios are measures

Option 2: A KPI card per dimension member, scenarios are dimension members

Option 3: A KPI card per (grouped) measure, scenarios are measures

Option 4: A KPI card per measure, scenarios are dimension members

For Tree Layouts:

Option 1 (Parent-Child → recursive data structure): A KPI card per dimension member, scenarios are dimension members or measures

Option 2 (Categorical → Decomposition tree; custom hierarchy): A KPI card per dimension member, scenarios are dimension members or measures
