# Set metric formats globally

In certain scenarios, it is not necessary to define the metrics for each card individually. Especially in the Grid options 1 and 2, when dimensions like product category, customer segments, or similar define the KPI cards, the formatting could be the same for each card.

In such scenarios, use the **Set Metric Formats Globally** option, and set the metric attributes for all cards at once.
