# Teams setup

To start using Teams, make sure you have a working Microsoft Graph installation, by following the [Connecting to the Microsoft Graph API](/mailscheduler/configuration/connecting-to-the-microsoft-graph-api.md) setup steps. Also make sure that you selected the right **Permission scope**, at least including the Teams permissions.

#### Getting started with Microsoft Teams

First, head to the External messaging tab in the Settings page.

Here, you need to select a Site, where your MailScheduler files will be saved. They will be saved in Sharepoint, in the root of the drive, in a 'MailScheduler' folder. This is necessary to send links to images, excel files, powerpoints and PDF's.

Without a site selected, it is not possible to send messages containing files in Teams.
