General options

The General page shows the current WriteBackExtreme environment that InputTables is connected to and contains the main configuration options for InputTables behavior.

User authentication

WriteBackExterme requires a username when using a pin code or no authentication. When using username & password authentication, the username field will automatically be populated. Follow these steps to configure this:

• Create a new worksheet named 'Username sheet`
• Create a calculated field with the calculation: username()
• Select the created username field in the general page of the InputTables configuration

Datasheet reloading

The datasheet reload button shows up when data is edited from within InputTables. This button reloads the datasheet connected to the viz-extension or all datasheets on the dashboard for the dashboard extension. To remove the reload button, the settings 'Show InputTables datasheet reload button' can be turned off.

Column visibility

When Show InputTables columns when not logged in is enabled, columns created by InputTables remain visible even when the user is not logged in. These columns stay in their original position and keep the same configuration, including width and other layout settings. However, the column data/details are hidden until the user is logged in.

By default, this setting is turned off.
